Terms of Service
Effective January 2026
Welcome to Meridian. By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they're written in plain language because we believe you deserve clarity, especially right now.
What Meridian is
Meridian is a support tool designed to help people navigating divorce and co-parenting. It provides emotional support, informational resources, and organizational tools to help you through this chapter of your life.
What Meridian is not
Meridian is not a law firm, not a licensed attorney, and not a substitute for legal counsel. Responses are provided for informational and emotional support purposes only. Nothing in this app constitutes legal advice. You are solely responsible for your own legal decisions, and we strongly encourage you to consult a qualified attorney for any legal matters.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Meridian. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Subscription & billing
- Meridian offers a 3-day free trial for new users.
- After the trial, Meridian Pro is available at $4.99/month or $39.99/year.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- On iOS, payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Your content
Any content you upload to Meridian — documents, messages, calendar entries, notes — remains your property. We do not claim ownership of your content. We store it securely solely to provide the service to you.
Acceptable use
We built Meridian to help people. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used to harass others, upload harmful content, attempt to compromise the service, or otherwise abuse the platform. We'll always try to give notice before taking action, except in cases where safety is at risk.
Limitation of liability
Meridian is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll notify you in the app. Continued use of Meridian after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
